Laura began her non-profit career in 1996 with Faith in Action of the River Cities. She served as Executive Director of United Way of the River Cities in Huntington, West Virginia for 12 years and joined United Way of West Florida in 2018.
Laura is a member of the Downtown Pensacola Rotary Club; the Institute for Women in Politics of Northwest Florida; the Transportation Disadvantaged Board in Santa Rosa County; Achieve Escambia Board of Directors; Achieve Healthy EscaRosa; the Homelessness Reduction Task Force and the Northwest Florida Mental Health Task Force. She serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Board of Governors for the United Way of Florida State Association and is a member of the Operating Model Task Force for United Way Worldwide.
Laura enjoys time at the beach; walking; movies; and watching college basketball! She is inspired by people who give of themselves to help others. Her other sources of inspiration are her husband Frank and her children, Rachel and Ian.
