Matthew began his career in community engagement and nonprofit service through his work with City Year, where he helped lead volunteer initiatives in communities and high-need schools around Boston. He continued this work at the University of West Florida, coordinating leadership and community service programs for students.
Matthew brings additional leadership and operational experience from his time at AT&T, where he held multiple roles including Operations Manager and HR Manager. In these roles, he coordinated across multi-functional teams, managed hiring and training efforts, and used data-driven strategies to improve performance and support employee development.
As the Healthy Schools Escambia Program Director, Matthew leads efforts to bring together schools, families, and community partners to support student health and academic success. He is passionate about creating collaborative, community-based solutions that help children and families thrive.
Matthew earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of West Florida and his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Florida State University, where he also completed a Certificate in Leadership Studies.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time in the community, supporting local initiatives, and staying engaged in efforts that make a positive impact on the lives of others.
