A strong garden is not just beautiful, it is resilient. Likewise, a community must be resilient to weather the seasons.

United Way of West Florida serves Escambia and Santa Rosa counties to ensure community resiliency through:

• Healthy Communities
• Youth Opportunities
• Financial Security

Programs and initiatives such as the Community Investment process, Day of Caring, and 211 Northwest Florida mobilize the community to action to improve lives.

 Supporting Our Neighbors

Some plants reach for the sky on their own but still need a trellis for support to grow strong and tall. So does the ALICE population that UWWF serves—those who are Asset Limited, Income Constrained, and Employed. These are hardworking individuals and families who are still unable to make ends meet.
