United Way of West Florida is joining Escambia County Public Schools to create healthier school environments with Healthy Schools Escambia, an initiative funded by the Escambia Children’s Trust.

This program will provide students access to medical, dental, social, and mental health services and opportunities for physical activity, academic support, and mentorship through partnerships with local agencies and nonprofits. The program will include six schools, starting with O.J. Semmes and Global Learning Academy in Spring 2025.
