After more than 25 years in the public setting of children's mental health working as a direct service provider for a local not-for-profit and program director for the Department of Children and Families, Mike sidestepped to the for-profit world for an additional decade. But the longing to be helpful kept calling.
A lifelong United Way donor, it seemed only natural that Mike joined the United Way of West Florida's 211 Northwest Florida team in 2011 and he has not looked back. The helping profession has always been Mike's heart, and the United Way of West Florida's mission and the 211 program fills that calling while his wife and BFF, children, and grandchildren make my world complete.
